About Dale Baker

Hi, I’m Dale Baker — an Australian dog trainer & behaviourist, and the founder of Dale For Dogs. I’ve spent over a decade working with dogs and developing my approach to practical, real-world training and canine behaviour. I started my journey many years ago working alongside the best trainers in the industry who planted the seed and helped shape the way I approach dog psychology today. My mentor came from a long line of trainers specialising in police & army dog training, and taught me how to build respect, trust, and an everlasting bond between dog and owner.

To date, I have trained over 4,000 dogs, and I’m proud to support the canine community with proven, practical puppy & dog training methods. Founded in 2021, Dale For Dogs was the result of years of dedication, learning, and collaboration with some of the best minds in the field. My training style combines the most effective, easy-to-apply techniques to deliver real and lasting results — no gimmicks, just clear communication between you and your dog.

While I work with dogs of all breeds and ages, I specialise in the crucial stages of puppyhood and adolescence, helping families build strong foundations from the very beginning.

Your puppy’s first few months with you will be exciting and full of learning as you each grow accustomed to each other. This period is also the most important in shaping future behaviour and I recommend getting training started early on because a well-trained dog isn’t just easier to live with; they’re happier, safer, and more connected to you. This is why I focus on puppy behaviour training and early habits that last a lifetime.

Clients often tell me they’re amazed at how simple and straightforward the process becomes with the right guidance. There is so much noise and conflicting advice online around dog training that people are often more confused after having researched a ton. My goal is to bring you back to the core foundations providing you with simple techniques and tangible results, without all the noise.
